"-itsumo shiawase ni nareru kitto-- ,*hack* *cough*" Kage was half-heartedly (but rather loudly) singing the last line to one of her favorite songs, when a random fruit fly had the misfortune of being inhaled. Or was it a speck of dust. Either way, that small object had royally destroyed that last note. After hacking up a lung to dislodge the bothersome object, she hovered the point of the black stylus over her ebony wacom tablet, moving the cursor on the screen, and occasionally tapping the dark surface to look through some tabs she had open. She glanced at her deviantart page before switching it over to a roleplay on gaia, titled 'Crimson Rose Hotel'. She scrolled down to the bottom to check for new posts. Nope. Nothing yet. A sigh gathered in her lungs, up her chest, and escaped through her parted lips as she clicked back to her deviantArt page. She was bored. There was nobody to talk to online or in person, except for the pets that mingled in the next room. She was all out of ideas of what (she wanted) to do. Well, not entirely. There was still a journal that she had been procrastinating to write (among other things).

Kage groaned. She still didn't want to write it, and it felt like a burden to do so, but it had been a month, and this was October. She had to say something. She nibbled on her lip, and tapped 'Update Journal'

Yo watchers, new watchers, and people who neglected to read my journal after the first line! I thought that it’s been a while since I have really put up any entries. Its October, the month of Halloween where we like to prepare or spend money on costumes to wear for just one day. To be honest, I have no Idea what I'm gonna be for old Howl-o-ween, so as soon as I figure it out, I'm in the process of making a partial (furry) suit while I try to figure out what I'm gonna do. I'll mainly be working on the mask, since everything else is prepared. It’s gonna be my first furry mask, so you guys can follow along on my craptastic adventure to making a failure of a mask. Watch in amazement as I wait 40+ dollars worth of materials!

As for those expecting stuff from me, I'm going to start shelling out apologies:

I know I'm an extremetly lame terrible horrible person for not sending in the intro to the story. There’s a lot of crap going on at home that is cutting down my performance, and I'd hate to give you the worst, but I give you my promise that I will get it to you.

Yeah. Still haven't drawn you that picture that you asked for in the beginning of the year. It’s mostly my fault, but you're request was so general, I'm still having a hard time figuring out how to compose it.

I have nothing to apologize for. Just thought seeing your icon might get your attention. Try to remember not to take me too seriously.

Kage threw herself back in her chair, neglecting to even look it over. 'Bah. It'll be fine. I'm just glad I got it over with.' With that, she fished a blow pop out of her back pocket, and licked its cherry flavored surface she proceeded to click the 'Submit' icon.
